Eggnog, the creamy classic cocktail is an essential drink to enjoy during the Christmas holidays. The recipe can vary between who’s making it, quite often this drink is the kind that can create a split between the lovers, and the haters.
Black Cow Vodka are putting the spirit into Christmas with their festive Eggnog. When Black Cow Vodka’s Christmas Spirit is thrown into the mix the haters will be brought around. The creamy, potency of this delicious drink will put some added cheer into your Christmas – because this year we deserve that bit extra!

For Black Cow’s Super Simple Eggnog you’ll need:
3 Clarence Court Burford Brown eggs, separated
75g caster sugar
300ml full-fat milk
150ml double cream
225ml Black Cow Christmas Spirit
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Pinch of ground nutmeg
Crack your eggs and separate the yolks from the whites into two separate bowls.
Whisk the egg whites and half of the sugar for 2-3 minutes until light and frothy. Then add the milk, cream, alcohol, spices and mix together with the egg white.
Next, whisk the egg yolks and the rest of the sugar until fairly stiff.
Fold the egg whites and alcohol mixture into the yolk bowl, combining everything together and gently whisk one last time.
Pour into a sealable bottle and store in the fridge to chill until ready to serve. Serve in any glass you see fit with a light dusting of cinnamon powder and grating of nutmeg.
