1. COMPETITION

1.1 The promoter is Clarence Court Ltd (company no. 01019356) whose registered office is at Whiteoaks Farm, The Old Sidings, Corsham Road Lacock, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 2LZ

1.2 This competition is brought to you by Clarence Court (“Clarence Court”) and Volt E-Bikes (“Volt E-Bikes”).

1.3 This Competition will run for the “Competition Period” which shall be from Monday 1st August 2022 until Friday 30th September 2022.

1.4 By entering this Competition, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”). The details of the Competition form part of these T&Cs. You should print and retain a copy of these T&Cs for reference. Any breach of these T&Cs may result in a prize being forfeited at Clarence Court’s sole discretion.

1.5 The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man or the Channel Islands aged 18 years or over except employees of Clarence Court, Volt E-bikes and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

1.6 Entrants must meet the following requirements (the “Eligibility Criteria”): reside in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland), Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, be at least 18 years of age or older and have access to the internet.

2. HOW TO ENTER

2.1 Every person who meets the Eligibility Criteria (“Entrant”) shall be entitled during the Competition Period to enter the Competition.

2.2 Entrants may enter the Competition by entering their details in an online form to enter the online prize draw during the Competition Period. All entrants can locate the form at www.clarencecourt.co.uk/competitions

2.3 The Competition must be entered in each Entrant’s own name, it may not be entered on behalf of anyone else. No bulk, software-generated, automatic or third-party entries shall be accepted. If a false name is used, that Entry will be disqualified.

2.4 Each Entrant is limited to one Entry. If more than one Entry per Entrant is received, or if any Entrant attempts to submit more than one Entry by using the same, multiple or different names or email addresses, all such Entries may be deemed void and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Competition.

2.5 Only Entries that have been completed correctly and in full will be entered into the Competition. Clarence Court does not accept any responsibility for late, lost, delayed or damaged Entries and cannot be held responsible for any inability to submit Entries as a result of computer service, systems and/or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction.

3. WINNER SELECTION

3.1 The Winners will be chosen by means of randomised selection from all valid Entries.

3.2 There will be a total of 2 winners.

4. THE PRIZE

4.1 The prize is as follows:

A Kensington Volt E-Bike in classic cream or soft blue.

4.2 The winner will be chosen at random by an independent adjudicator.

5. CONTACTING THE WINNER

5.1 Clarence Court will make reasonable efforts to notify the Winner(s) of the Prize using the email address used to submit the Entry during the week commencing Monday 3rd October 2022.

5.2 If the Winner(s) cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Clarence Court reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

5.3 Clarence Court is not responsible for email addresses recorded incorrectly. If having made those efforts it is not possible to contact the Winner(s), Clarence Court reserves the right to offer the Winner’s Prize to the next valid Entrant selected by means of randomised selection. Any reselection will be undertaken in accordance with these T&Cs.

5.4 Following the initial congratulations email notifying the Winner(s), the Winner’s contact and postage details will be asked for by Clarence Court and shared with Volt E-Bikes, to send on the prize who will deliver directly to you.

6. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

6.1 Clarence Court reserves the right to withdraw, change or cancel the Competition at any time. Clarence Court’s decision in all matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.2 The Prize must be taken as stated and unless otherwise specified cannot be deferred. There will be no cash or other alternative offered. Once a Prize has been allocated it cannot be transferred and must not be sold on.

6.3 Clarence Court, including its officers, directors, employees, shareholders or agents, excludes all liability for any losses and/or damages of whatever nature and howsoever arising in relation to these T&Cs, this Competition and/or the Prize, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws.

6.4 In consideration of being awarded the Prize, if you are the Winner, you may be required by Clarence Court and Volt E-Bikes to take part in publicity related to the subject of the Competition. Such publicity may include, without limitation, use of the Winner’s name, photographs (which the Winner will provide on request) and statements made by the Winner concerning the Competition and/or the Prize.

6.5 The information you provide will only be used for the purposes of this Competition, unless you opt-in to receive future marketing communications from Clarence Court or Volt E-Bikes by selecting the tick boxes on the competition form.

6.6 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook/Instagram/Twitter, and Facebook/Instagram/Twitter shall not be liable for any losses whatsoever arising from this Competition and/or the Prize. You are providing your information to Clarence Court and not to Facebook/Instagram/Twitter.

6.8 These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
