TERMS & CONDITIONS: Gareth Baty Dining Experience

THE COMPETITION

1.1 The promoter is Clarence Court Eggs Limited (company no. 01019356) whose registered office is at Lacock Green, Corsham Road, Lacock, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 2LZ.

1.2 This competition is brought to you by Clarence Court Eggs Limited (“Clarence Court”).

1.3 This Competition will run for the “Competition Period” which shall be from Wednesday 29th April 2026 until Wednesday 6th May 2026.

1.4 By entering this Competition, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”). The details of the Competition form part of these T&Cs. You should print and retain a copy of these T&Cs for reference. Any breach of these T&Cs may result in a prize being forfeited at Clarence Court’s sole discretion.

1.5 The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Clarence Court, their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisations or judging of the competition.

1.6 Entrants must meet the following requirements (the “Eligibility Criteria”): reside in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland), be at least 18 years of age or older and have access to the internet.

1.7 No purchase is necessary to enter or to win the Competition and any purchase made will not increase the chance of winning.

 

HOW TO ENTER

2.1 Every person who meets the Eligibility Criteria (“Entrant”) shall be entitled during the Competition Period to enter the Competition.

2.2 Entrants may enter the competition online, during the Competition Period, by visiting Clarence Court’s website: www.clarencecourt.co.uk/gareth-baty-dining-experience and following the entry requirements.

2.3 The Competition must be entered in each Entrant’s own name; it may not be entered on behalf of anyone else. No bulk, software-generated, automatic, or third-party entries shall be accepted. If a false name is used, that Entry will be disqualified.

2.4 Only Entries that have been completed correctly and in full will be entered into the Competition. Clarence Court does not accept any responsibility for late, lost, delayed or damaged Entries and cannot be held responsible for any inability to submit Entries as a result of computer service, systems and/or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction.

 

WINNER SELECTION

3.1 The Winner will be chosen by means of randomised selection from all valid Entries. There will be 1 winner.

THE PRIZE

4.1 A private dining experience for 6-8 people with Gareth Baty, hosted at the Winner’s home or venue of their choice. Clarence Court will cover the cost of food per head for 6-8 people up to the value of £200 per person.

4.2 The Winner will be chosen using a random online competition generator.

4.3 If the dinner is hosted at a venue that incurs a cost, this must be covered by the Winner, rather than Clarence Court.

4.4 The dinner must be hosted at a UK address.

CONTACTING THE WINNER

5.1 Clarence Court will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winner via email using the email address provided by 12pm on Thursday 7th May 2026, where the Winner will have 14 days to accept the prize.

5.2 Clarence Court is not responsible for entries recorded incorrectly. If having made those efforts it is not possible to contact the Winner, Clarence Court reserves the right to offer the Winner’s Prize to the next valid Entrant selected by means of randomised selection. Any reselection will be undertaken in accordance with these T&Cs.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

6.1 Clarence Court reserves the right to withdraw, change or cancel the Competition at any time. Clarence Court decision in all matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.2 The Prize must be taken as stated and unless otherwise specified cannot be deferred. There will be no cash or other alternative offered. Once a Prize has been allocated it cannot be transferred and must not be sold on.

6.3 Clarence Court, including its officers, directors, employees, shareholders, or agents, excludes all liability for any losses and/or damages of whatever nature and howsoever arising in relation to these T&Cs, this Competition and/or the Prize, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws.

6.4 In consideration of being awarded the Prize, if you are the Winner, you may be required by Clarence Court to take part in publicity related to the subject of the Competition. Such publicity may include, without limitation, use of the Winner’s name, photographs (which the Winner will provide on request) and statements made by the Winner concerning the Competition and/or the Prize.

6.5 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook/Instagram/Twitter, and Facebook/Instagram/Twitter shall not be liable for any losses whatsoever arising from this Competition and/or the Prize. You are providing your information to Clarence Court and not to Facebook/Instagram/Twitter.

6.7 These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
