At Clarence Court we believe that all birds should be treated with care and respect, given everything possible to allow freedom of expression and movement, as well as all that is necessary for a happy life.
The health & wellbeing of our hens is of paramount importance to us hence the reason why our poultry keepers are carefully recruited, many of whom are experienced stockmen.
In 2003 Clarence Court pioneered the principles behind keeping quail in an environment where they are free to fly and nest. Our 'Free to Fly' quails' eggs come from an idylic farm close to the sea in a beautiful part of Cornwall where they are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. In their specially designed houses they not only enjoy the warmth and seclusion for nesting and laying eggs, but they can run and fly, or take a bracing walk outside for a breath of fresh Atlantic air.
