Press Release
Have an eggs-tra special Easter
Tuesday 1st April 2008
The first of its kind, Clarence Court’s Luxury Egg Selection Box will provide Easter inspiration with a difference. Now it's possible to have an eggs-tra special Easter without chocolate. The limited edition box features four types of free range eggs – one Cornish goose egg, two Braddock White duck eggs, two pheasant eggs and three ‘Free To Fly’ quail eggs.
It's the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of spring, when geese and pheasants begin to produce eggs. Pheasants only lay from March to September, and geese - whose eggs are three times the size of an ordinary hen - need a minimum of 12 hours daylight in order to lay.
Says Clarence Court Director Lisa Rowe, “Clarence Court’s Luxury Egg Selection Box is a fantastic Easter alternative for foodies, but it’s only available from Easter to early summer, so shoppers had better get cracking!”
From scrambled goose egg à deux and quails egg Nicoise salad, to delectable duck egg brownies and boiled pheasant eggs dipped in celery salt, this is the ideal treat for every gourmand.
