Clarence Court launches New Packaging

Friday 4th January 2008

Clarence Court, the speciality free-range egg producer, is re-launching its core lines with new packaging from the 1st February 2008. The move follows the success of the recent re-branding of the Clarence Court seasonal range including the luxury egg selection box, which was launched exclusively in Waitrose last year.

The packaging for the Old Cotswold Legbars and Mabel Pearman’s Burford Browns will be made from 100% recycled material and designed to accentuate the quality and superior taste of these distinctively-coloured eggs. Each pack will be supported by various inserts – from recipes by top chef and food writer Mark Hix to profiles of Clarence Court producers.

Says Clarence Court Director Lisa Rowe, “The bright new packaging is designed to stand out on shelf and encourage consumers to take a closer look.

“We anticipate that once shoppers have the product in their hands and see the quality for themselves, they will not wish to buy eggs from anyone else.”

Clarence Court eggs are available from stores including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Budgens, Harrods, Selfridges and Whole Foods Market.
